On May 27, 2020, the group standard reading meeting of "general technical specification for miniled commercial display screen" was held successfully, which marked the official release of the first group standard of miniled commercial display screen in the world!

It is reported that miniled display products have begun to be used in large screen high-definition display, such as monitoring and commanding, HD broadcasting, high-end cinema, office display, virtual reality and other commercial fields. However, there are still some problems in miniled industry, such as the lack of unified standards, the industrial chain has not yet been fully integrated, and the acceleration of industrialization is urgently needed. The first release of the standard will promote Chinese enterprises to seize the opportunity of global miniled display technology.

The standard was proposed by Shenzhen lighting and display engineering industry association, and led 56 units, including Alto, TCL Huaxing, abison, Jufei, Leiman, Zhouming, Riad, Konka, Skyworth, Hisense, Qiangli Jucai, Huacan, MuLinSen, Guoxing, Ruifeng, Hongli, Samsung, OSRAM, Kerui, etc. based on the technology development of global display screen industry and combined with China's miniled industry chain Enterprise characteristics, lasted half a year, through extensive research, after 15 times of repeated revision and discussion, completed the preparation.

The general technical specification of miniled commercial display screen defines for the first time what "miniled" is: LED device with chip size between 50-200 μ M.

The standard points out that "miniled display module" is composed of miniled pixel array and driving circuit, and the pixel center spacing is 0.3-1.5mm.

According to the standard, "miniled commercial display" is a miniled display with smaller pixel spacing, high definition, high reliability, high interface compatibility and easy installation and maintenance.
