According to the announcement, the 30th meeting of the 4th board of directors of Nationstar optoelectronics passed the "proposal on the company's plan to participate in the bidding for the right to use industrial land in Nanzhuang Town, Chancheng District, Foshan City". It was agreed that the company would bid for the right to use about 82 mu of industrial land in Nanzhuang Town, Chancheng District, Foshan City with its own funds of no more than 70 million yuan.

Recently, Nationstar optoelectronics has reached a preliminary cooperation intention with Chancheng District Government Department of Foshan City, and plans to invest 1-2 billion yuan (the specific amount is subject to the actual approval) in the target plot to build packaging devices and application product lines and supporting facilities.

At present, Nationstar optoelectronics has completed the preparation of project feasibility study report, legal opinion, risk assessment report and other project documents. The government has handed over 60 mu of land for the company to carry out the preliminary work. The investment is under internal approval procedures.

Nationstar optoelectronics said that the company plans to invest and construct the project in the plot, aiming to continue to expand the company's existing advantageous packaging devices and application product capacity, increase the layout and development of emerging fields such as mini led, and enhance the competitiveness and market share of the company's core products in the middle and high-end market.

This foreign investment still needs to be approved by legal procedures, which will not have a significant impact on the company's production and operation and current performance before the company has completed the approval procedures and the investment has not been formally implemented.

According to ledinside, Nationstar first launched Mini led new device products in June 2018, and new products are also being released. Its miniled products can be used in full-color display, TV backlight, E-sports display, car navigation and other fields.

Nationstar previously disclosed that at this stage, the company's Mini led orders are full, affected by the epidemic, is trying to restore full production, production capacity continues to climb.
